18世紀に作られた金箔が貼られたウォールミラー
マナーハウスからの依頼の修復。壁に固定されていたウォールミラーが事故で落ちて下の装飾部分破損。破片を膠で接着し、欠損部はジェッソーで埋め、ギルディングを施し色を合わせました。
18th Century Gilt Framed Wall Mirror
This was a restoration request from a manor house. A wall mirror that had been fixed to the wall fell in an accident, damaging the decorative part underneath. The broken pieces were glued together(used fish glue), the missing parts were filled with gesso, and gilding was applied to match the colour.
